Heteropteryx Dilatata - two pairs of hatchlings (no extras as very low stock) - Jungle Nymph Stick Insects

2 pair of very young jungle nymphs from our stock of about 100 adults last generation - these will eventually grow to be huge adults (2 males + 2 females). When we have lots hatching we add an extra for free BUT currently we don't have enough. At the time of writing we are down to the last box, but if it says sold out message us and we will check if more have hatched.

you can sex even the youngest ones, the females have a slightly pointed tail

Feed well on bramble, oak, beech, raspberry, hawthorn - keep cut stems in jars of water but don't leave gaps to let the insects fall in 

Temperature 20-30 C (a warm room temperature), humidity 70-85%

• Heating Setup: As our house gets cold in winter we use these Inkbird thermostats and heat mats such as these attached to the outside of the glass enclosure. We insulate the outside of the cages with this foam roll and even put it over the heating mats but do that at your own risk - it's not advised! We also use these foam strips to modify cages and seal larger gaps around the doors of the cages but find the strips don't last indefinitely.

• We'd raise as many as 8 in this cage or more in this or a much larger colony in this lovely cage. In the past we've built cages using sheets like these.
